After had a separate zoom meeting with Trustees and the executive committee of the Gorkhali Samaj UK, all members have agreed to create a COVID-19 fund to help and support for desperately needed Health Posts and Hospitals within the Gorkha District of Nepal.
It is very important to provide health-related goods and services for the least fortunate Health posts and Hospitals of the Gorkha District that could save many lives.
We are aware of many people are struggling financially at this moment in time and jobs and livelihood are at risk. Many parents are under stress to put food on the table for their families. However, we are requesting members and well-wishers of the Samaj to make some contributions for this cause if possible. We believe that even a small contribution makes a big difference.
We would like to request to use below account details if you want to contribute for this cause. The fund collection activities will be closed by the 31 July 2020.
